The Baltimore Flute Choir was selected to perform at the 2018 National Flute Association Convention in Orlando, FL!

August 10-11, 2018

Thank you for helping us get there!

The Baltimore Flute Choir was selected out of over 500 choirs who submitted a proposal to perform at the 2018 National Flute Association Convention (NFA) in Orlando, FL this August! This is a very exciting opportunity and extremely rewarding after the hard work the choir members put in to making an exemplary recording to submit with this application.

The Baltimore Flute Choir averages 16-20 members each season and includes players of piccolo, C flute, alto flute, and bass flute. Under the baton of our director, Sara Nichols, the choir has reached a higher level of musicianship than ever before. This is reflected in our selection by the NFA proposal review committee.

In order to be able to perform at the convention, the flute choir must travel to Orlando, FL. Each member must pay a regisration fee, membership fee, as well as travel, lodging, and food costs. In an effort to help all choir members attend the convention and perform for flutists from all over the country, we are raising money to help defray the costs associated with this trip.

In addition to this fundraising, the flute choir would love to perform fundraising concerts. If you have a venue or group that is willing to host such an event, please email us to make arrangements.

Thank you in advance for your support of our trip to Orlando!
